Returns

Returns: Please check your shipment as soon as it arrives. If we have made an error, or the items are defective in any way, please notify us and we will make arrangements to correct the shipment. If you return an item for any other reason, it must be in saleable condition in its own original packaging. Your refund may be subject to our 10$ restocking fee and we will not return shipping and handling fees. Please email us prior to returning any merchandise.

Damages/Losses: In the unlikely event that damages occur during shipping, it must be reported to the shipping company immediately.

US Postal Service (USPS): If the package arrives damaged, keep the box and all of the contents. You have to keep the items so that the post office can come to your home to inspect the items. Upon receipt of the package, take a photo of the box, showing any exterior damage, a picture of packing materials and a picture of the item that is damaged. Email those pictures to theavenue@comcast.net. Please put your full name and where you purchased the item from, The Avenue website, Amazon, Ebay, Etsy, etc.   Include a description of the damage. We will initiate the claim for you.

United Parcel Service (UPS): If there are outward signs of damage, if possible, open the box, inspect the shipment before signing for the package while the UPS driver is still present. If that is not possible, send us an email with all of the information as listed above for USPS. Some items, depending upon the value of the item and the location of delivery, may require signature.

Defective Merchandise: The Avenue Stained Glass does not manufacturer stained glass equipment and supplies, therefore, if you need repair work, or replacement parts for merchandise you must contact the manufacturer directly. Please email us if you cannot locate the contact info for the manufacturer.

We do value your continued business, so we will do whatever is possible to help you resolve your issues. That said, there are not personnel available to answer the phone, so if you call, you will need to leave a message. It will be much faster to have your inquiries answered if you send an email (theavenue@comcast.net).
