Design Acknowledgements
Many of the designs in the picture galleries, are from pattern books
that are currently being offered for sale in our shop, and many
other stained glass hobby shops. We promote the artists that
write/publish these books, by proudly displaying their designs
and spreading the word about their patterns. Most if not all of
the pattern books sold in our store, are sold after other
hobbyists have seen samples from the books, displayed in our store.
We highly recommend these books, they will get your creative
juices flowing, and help you to branch out into areas that you
may not have otherwise considered. If you can't find any of
these books at your local stores, contact me and I'll get them
for you. The drawback to listing these books is that I am sure
there are many that we've left out. I will be updating this as
new books are published.
Paned Expressions Studios
I can't sing Paned Expressions Studios' praises loud enough.
The most talented people that I have had the pleasure of knowing
and hanging out with. I'm convinced that there is not a design
that they can't convert to stained glass. They've made many
jobs possible for us with their design expertise. If you have
time, please pay them a visit at:
http://www.panedexpressions.com.
Not only can they make difficult jobs possible, they take
pleasure in making possible jobs more difficult, but only
if you ask for it. They have a flare for making things in
glass come alive and speak to you. They have released 3
Band Saw Challenge Books and several CDs, including Our
Favorite Patterns, Pure Fantasy, and Catch the Light.
Some of the designs in the picture gallery came from their
books. The Rooster on the Cover of Band Saw Challenge III
("Something To Crow About", or better known to us as
"Halitosis Hank"), was designed by them, and fabricated in
this studio. The service that they provide is outstanding,
and for the money, can't be beat. Their humor has left me
rolling in the floor more than once. When you work in glass,
you have to have a good sense of humor or just plain be crazy.
